The Humorous Side

So many of us in the labor movement are so serious about it (myself included) that we sometimes fail to see the humorous side of it - whether in our favor or not. If we can't laugh at ourselves once in a while - in addition to everyone else - then we're one workplace shooting away from prison.

This page is dedicated to all things that make me laugh that are work related.  Some might be twisted, sarcastic or obnoxious. If you're easily offended, this might not be the page for you.  Proceed with caution, check back often for new additions - and enjoy.

    None of these were funny, but depicts Union workers as minimizing the meaning of Labor Day.
    I've been a Union officer for 28 years, and felt
    degraded after reading most of the cards. If I didn't already feel down with the assaults on
    Unions from the right, the cards brought me to
    a new low.

    Peggy, I'm sorry you interpreted the cards that way. None of them specifically target labor, nor did I post them to infer that they do or should. They're simply workplace related, and admittedly, not going to be everyone's cup of tea, as the disclaimer indicates.     I enjoyed the sarcastic look at life in the workplace. Now I am wondering if I can afford to get any of these made into a T-shirt. Long live the weekend!

    I love these cards. I found them funny and informative as well. My favorite is "The opposite of progress".
